 Ingredients:

Pumpkin-1 (approximately 1 1/2 kg)

Onion (Cucumber) - 1 large

Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon

Chili - 7-8 or according to taste (chop from the middle)

Oil - approximately 8 tablespoons

Salt - 1 teaspoon or to taste

Method:

Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. Cut very thin and long.

Heat oil in a pan and fry with onion until soft. Stir well with turmeric powder and chilli powder and cover with a lid.


Cook for about 10 minutes or until pumpkin is cooked through. Shake occasionally. Open the lid and fry for another 3-4 minutes.

Serve with white rice.
